Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fifth Edition (WISC-V)

Every day, we help children across Ireland access their potential by assessing their learning needs through educational assessments. A huge part of helping children access their potential is also by supporting staff and educators with training in the various tests and assessment results in order to plan appropriate interventions for students.

Description:
This 2-day workshop will introduce psychologists to the administration, scoring and interpretation of the WISC V. An optional 3rd day can be selected for formal assessment of skills and a certificate of competence
Duration:
This is offered as a 2-day face-to-face workshop. An optional 3rd day, at a later date, can be selected.
Location:
Ireland
Appropriate for:
Psychologists with a post graduate qualification in psychology only.
Prerequisites:
Post graduate qualification degreein Psychology required.
Coursework:
2 days: Engagement in class activities; practical work; role play
3rd Day: submission of videos, reports and written work for assessment
Qualification earned:
2 days: Certificate of attendance
3rd day: Certificate of competence
