TRAINING FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

A huge part of helping children access their potential is also by supporting health professionals involved in delivering quality experiences through various forms of therapy and special education, so that they can better plan and implement appropriate interventions for their clients.

COURSES OFFERED

We offer a variety of training courses for teachers/educators, psychologists, and other health professionals, across Ireland and the UK.

Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development Third Edition (Bayley-III)

One of the most widely used developmental assessments of infants and toddlers. This course will introduce professionals to the administration, scoring and interpretation of the Bayley Scales.

WISC-V (psychologists only)

The WISC V is the most popular intelligence test used around the world. This 2 or 3-day course will introduce psychologists to the administration, scoring and interpretation of the WISC V.

LEGO® Based Therapy (for health professionals)

This LEGO® based therapy training is suitable for Psychologists, Speech and language therapists, Occupational Therapists, Play Therapists and other health professionals working with or intending to work with children on the autistic spectrum or children with related communication difficulties.

Working with bilingual children: a workshop for Educational Psychologists

More and more educational psychologists are working with bilingual children. There is a clear need to develop skills, knowledge and expertise in this area as well as being cognizant of some of the issues involved when bilingual children have additional support needs.
