More and more educational psychologists are working with bilingual children and therefore there is a clear need to develop their skills, knowledge and expertise in this area. Educational psychologists also should be cognizant of some of the issues involved when bilingual children have additional support needs.

This is offered as a 1-day face-to-face course.

This 1 day course is for qualified Educational Psychologists as well as EP’s in training.
Coursework:
The course will cover concepts such as cognitive control, selective attention, flexible and creative thinking, and conceptual transfer, and will consider bilingual children who may have learning difficulties, dyslexia, autism, Asperger syndrome and/or selective mutism.
